In Brave New World the author, Aldous Huxley, uses science to keep the inhabitancy of his world down. The masses such as Linda and the Epsilons fallow blindly into the world they are told is the height of technological advancement. Methods such as conditioning lead them to this blind path, they believe their leader unconditionally with out thought other wise. Conditioning and medication have given the controllers the power they hold. This type of society though pleasing to those who inhabit it is void of emotion, scientific advancement, and freedom. The carefully controlled amounts of science that is used only furthers that void creating a workforce that even the world leaders find hellish.
