I have chosen the movie Kids to analyze. I picked this film because of the important messages it relays to viewers. This is the first movie that has been able to realistically depict the lives of white urban youth. It is a real eye-opener for parents and a majority of the older generations. Many parents believed the film be provocative and insulting. What the movie really portrays is the truth, and a lot of parents would rather turn their backs than open their eyes to just that, the truth.
