Poetry is a mysterious thing. The use of poetry can be made to bring about a feeling or emotion about something, or it can be used to earn a few extra dollars. There are some writers though, like William Wordsworth, who used the writing style to write about their real life experiences. It has been suspected that he did just that in his piece, ?A Slumber Did My Spirit Seal?, to jot down his feelings

simply sit down and read the poem a few times over, it is quite easy to be sucked into the world that Wordsworth comes up with and become a ?witness? of sorts to the scenes that he creates. The audience does not have to be a fan of Wordsworth, or poetry for that instance; however, after living in just a few of his poems, it is easy for anyone to give the man much respect.
