On September 11, 2001, two commercial airlines hit the Pentagon and another toppled the World Trade Center. This is a day that will live in infamy; the freedoms that Americans had once enjoyed were being challenged by a group of cowards. People were plummeting to their deaths, afraid of being burnt alive. Thousands of Americans were incinerated, and debris and ashes covered New York like a blanket of snow.

steel reinforced doors on the cockpit entrances would be a step forward, it is only protecting the pilots not the rest of the crew and passengers. However, if we were to increase security measures on the ground--increase wages, hire federal employees, and do tighter checks of bags--it would stop the problem before it ever started. America needs to quit evading air safety problems and implement changes that will help protect our people and our country.
