change that could come
out of this terrible epidemic would be for the United States to
realize that their problems are mild in comparison with many
underdeveloped nations such as the ones in the southeastern
section of Africa. AIDS has already pulled the world closer
together in the common interest of combating the disease. One
could only hope that this brutal epidemic will leave the world
with some kind of positive social change.
