Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston to Elizabeth and David Poe. Both Elizabeth and David Poe were professional actors. There are various theories as to the events of those last few days; however, the next thing known is that Poe was found lying outside a voting place on October 3.
