1st person Native American view of the colonists
Here I am with my family and tribe in the middle of a great war. The colonists seem so
promising and they tell us all so much, but i don't know what to believe. My children are so
frightened and my wife is so confused. What do I tell them? I don't want to let own my tribe,
the chief, or my family.

people as sheilds, and fighting tools.
They all do seem trustworthy. They're giving my people guns, weapons, supplies, and
food. Many of the sooth my people with kind words with no sign of dishonesty or greed
in their eyes. Should I trust the colonists? I guess I am even more confused than my
wife. Whatever happens I will do what's best for my family and my people.
